It's ok, you don't have to feel bad about not getting one...Still makes for a good story. Plus most everyone here hunts for the experience and not for the kill.

The way I see it is no matter what the outcome, it was still a successful hunt.

Finish it up!
 
Oh my gosh, what an adventure of a lifetime. Thanks for sharing it with us. I only wish I can go on a hunt like this sometime in my lifetime. Thanks again for sharing it with us and the great pictures as well!
 
I propose that since our friend Totch doesn't seem to want to finish his story that we have a contest or something to see who can come up with the best ending to Totch's story.

OK, while we're waiting for the finish, how about a little Monday morning quarterbacking???

I direct you to the story of the first kill, the brown phase black bear. It took 2 shots to anchor. The first one was a "low hit" due to the extreme uphill angle.

Well, as we all should know, shots at an extreme angle, be it uphill or down, will impact HIGH. The necessary correction is to AIM low. Discuss...

LOL, maybe this little "flame" will light a fire under his butt to come and finish up...
 
or his wife discovered how much it costed and met him at the airport with a big stick and he is recovering in the hospital from the head trauma and he can't remember this post.

Totch made quite a few posts in November, and his last post was 12/21/08. He was on-line yesterday, so my guess is he has either forgotten all about this thread, or he has some other reason not to finish it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
