The coming famine

Check out some of the Radio broadcasts.

Guns will be of no use if you run out of food.

Quote from the site:

We have the exact opposite of the Joseph of Egypt situation.
Americans will be like Joseph's family, starving, only with no money (of value) and no place in the world to buy food even with gold.

Very shortly the people who will be considered wealthy beyond imagination will not be those in mansions with basement vaults full of gold and guns. Instead it will be the relatively few, many of whom at first said, "There is no way I can accumulate even a month's worth of food let alone several years", who actually stored food.

Listen to the message, "Never in America".

Maybe if you pray harder the world will end sooner for you. You seem to be looking forward to it.

Sorry, i dont judge people due to their religion. Unlike you, i recognize that we have the right to worship any god in this great nation. Your sig. states you do otherwise. I dont hate jews, i dont hate muslims and i dont hate god. YOU are the one who hates on a religious basis.

Ya know, MS's sig makes sense to me. There just reaches a point when one has to open their eyes and confront reality. As Americans, we hold freedom of religion dear and take the thought of religious persecution very seriously, as we should.

On the other hand, if you have a religion that calls, literally, right in it's holy book, for non-believers to be beheaded and whose followers are actually doing it, including to Americans, then we cannot pretend and stick our heads in the sand. Their stated goal is conversion to Islam or death. We've already been seeing a fair amount of death.

This religion is medieval and its practitioners control entire countries, some possibly with the ability--or at least will have soon--to make a nuclear first-strike against the US. They have colonized Europe in great numbers in a very, very rapid period of time. Not coincidentally, anti-Semitism in Europe has soared, it's now at 1930's levels in places like France. Guess where that came from?

Here's the disturbing part: despite all the terror, all the murder, torture, etc., etc., the 'moderate' practitioners are overwhelmingly silent! There is NO widespread condemnation from within opposing the torture and terror. To me that makes a huge difference. They condone it by their silence--at least in mt view. Imaging the international outcry if in the US women were being stoned to death as punishment for having been raped, since that is what the holy book's law called for? This isn't some Cursades thing 1200 years ago, it is right now.

As to Israel, these folks (most, obviously) hate the Jews--always have--and they don't want Israel to even exist. Period. They don't actually care much about the Golan Heights, West Bank or Gaza Strip, which, of course they have back and use as a convenient place to launch rockets at Israeli civilians. Israel is a western style democracy and our only friend in this critical region.

To these people, the Muslim ideological leaders and their hordes of followers, there is no difference between politics/state and religion. They are one in the same.

Again, I do agree with your general premise, that we should not bother someone because of how they chose (or don't) to worship God. But in this case MS's point is very well taken and we have to see the world as it is.

I will admit my bias. As a Christian, I do have deep concern for the Jewish people and I worry about the survival of their state. I also worry that so many here in the US vote with the political party least committed to Israel and which contains such a large number of anti-Semites, especially on college campuses.

Excellent post Java.

Here's my take on religion. Anybody on the face of the earth has the right to believe in any religion, God or Gods as they see fit. These same folks should be able to practice their religion in peace and without persecution.

Now, when you on behalf of your religion go flying planes into buildings killing 3000 innocent people and refuse to find a peacful co-existance with Isreal, then you and your religion got to go. I mean gone. I can hear it now, "what about the moderate muslims who don't agree with the bad muslims?". Well, you should have stood up for what was right and wrong even on the most basic level. Don't kill people!!!!! But you moderate muslims just sat there and did nothing but support the extremist with your SILENCE! In my eyes, you are just as bad.

Flame suit on.

Dawg you must be a member of the I.M.F.A. Why do you always drag a thread off-topic with personal attacks?

Java & Stealth 1959:

Good posts by both of you.

The constitution guarantees freedom of ALL religions but not when its adherents become murders.

jwp, you must be kidding? You are the king of personal attacks. You even attacked my avatar which shows my support for Israel and nothing more.

JWP, the Koran is clear that anyone that does not convert can be put to death as an infidel. Just like all the things in the Bible, not everyone who is a believer is inclined to follow every word to the letter. So is every follower of Islam a murderer? - No of course not! Does Islam's scripture give the most radical groups a right to kill infidels? - Yes it does. So murdering an infidel is not a sin it is an act that honors “god”. You need not look further than the history of the spread of Islam to see that it is spread by the sword! RKR

Every muslim/islamic is one of two things. A terrorists or a sleeper terrorist. Nothing more. Their religion speaks this.

JWP, where do you want to be when Jesus comes back?

SureShot:I dont believe he came or will ever come back, sorry.

RKR: So you have read the entire Quran?

So what should we do? Commit genocide and kill all muslims? Then we would be no better than the radical muslims.

Mspingy, i would like to see the thread where i "attacked" your avatar...

Saw this report on Fox News last week.

A report posted on Islam Watch, a site run by Muslims who oppose intolerant teachings and hatred for unbelievers, exposes a prominent Islamic cleric and lawyer who support extreme punishment for non-Muslims — including killing and rape.

A question-and-answer session with Imam Abdul Makin in an East London mosque asks why Allah would tell Muslims to kill and rape innocent non-Muslims, including their wives and daughters, according to Islam Watch.

"Because non-Muslims are never innocent, they are guilty of denying Allah and his prophet," the Imam says, according to the report. "If you don't believe me, here is the legal authority, the top Muslim lawyer of Britain."

The lawyer, Anjem Choudary, backs up the Imam's position, saying that all Muslims are innocent.

"You are innocent if you are a Muslim," Choudary tells the BBC. "Then you are innocent in the eyes of God. If you are not a Muslim, then you are guilty of not believing in God."

Choudary said he would not condemn a Muslim for any action.

"As a Muslim, I must support my Muslim brothers and sisters," Choudary said.

"I must have hatred to everything that is not Muslim."

Yeah. "Zionists" and Christians are the dangerous ones. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

JWP Why yes, yes I have though not in aribic as it is suppose to be read according to Islam. I have also read the entire Christian Bible, the Apocryphal books and some of the Jewish writings such as the Talmudas well as the Book of Mormon and the Pearl of Greatest Price, and sevral books on the major and minor faiths of the world. What is your point?
