It really amazes me how anyone could look at a child as a punishment. My three year old grandson spent the whole weekend with us, and I just could not imagine my life without him being a part of it.

Stop the presses...DR, please cite the evidence that the Palins let their 14 y-o daughter date a 23 y-o man?

As to your contention that she did or did not receive sex ed, you mistakenly suggest that sex ed equals less likelihood of out-of-wedlock pregnancy. In fact, such a suggestion is just a common liberal canard. If you look into it, the opposite is true. Kids who receive detailed sex ed are MORE likely to engage in sex. With increased sex ed in schools we have had far, far increased illegitimacy and many have determined a causal link between the two.

You also have no way, at least that I am aware of, of knowing what sex ed this girl did or did not receive.

The fact that she's 5+ months pregnant and STILL unwed suggests that one or both of the parents-to-be are not interested in becoming espoused.
