Stop the presses...DR, please cite the evidence that the Palins let their 14 y-o daughter date a 23 y-o man?
And I quote; I said it elsewhere, I'll say it here too.
The judgment of parents who permit their then-14 year old daughter to date a 23 year old man are poor. To put it mildly. The fact that she's 5+ months pregnant and STILL unwed suggests that one or both of the parents-to-be are not interested in becoming espoused. If she was impregnated before turning 17, and I don't know this to be the case, then it was statutory rape, even in Alaska.Poor Judgement on Palins part, VERY BAD!

As to your contention that she did or did not receive sex ed, you mistakenly suggest that sex ed equals less likelihood of out-of-wedlock pregnancy. In fact, such a suggestion is just a common liberal canard. If you look into it, the opposite is true. Kids who receive detailed sex ed are MORE likely to engage in sex. With increased sex ed in schools we have had far, far increased illegitimacy and many have determined a causal link between the two.
Well, it doesn't seem so in this case now does it?
DR--I checked out the link you provided and the journalist does not claim--at least that I saw--that she dates a 23 y-o as a 14 y-o. A person off the Internet claimed that, but this is not any kind of credible source--anybody can chime in a post anything.
Can you tie this claim to a legitimate source?
