Ivers. a couple years ago, i was working on a deck. a guy from down the street came over and asked if i'd take a look at his fence for repairs. i said i would. when i went to look, i seen an Obummer sticker on his bumper. turned around and went back to work.
the next day he came back and asked if i had looked at his fence. i said nope.
he asked why and i told him "i did'nt like your bumper sticker".
he kinda grunted and walked away.
hopefully he found some Dem that actually knows how to use a power saw. dought it nowdays.

LOL!!

"Now THAT was funny, I don't care who you are!" (Larry the Cable Guy wisdom)

We used to have a sticker that was popular in the Utah gasfields, it said "Save the Environment. Ride a Polar Bear to Work!"

We used to call today's mainstream liberals "watermelon liberals, green on the outside, red at the core." They are basically Socialists that use emotional fools and the like spouting environmentalist (ed.) ideas to promote Socialist agenda. Too bad there are so many willing and otherwise non-useful idiots out there.

My wife's uncle was a logger in Washington state back when the spotted owl almost shut down logging, and he had a bumper sticker on his truck that said, "Wipe your *** with a spotted owl"

Yeah, the Spotted Owl was just an excuse to attack the forest products industry.

A 1970s PNW gypo logger worked harder and risked his life more in a week than the average patchouli oil slathered environmentalists did in a lifetime.

That’s not a truly accurate statement there Java. A week is too long. A day or a day and a half is far closer to the truth

Quote:What say you HB and Rimmy? Bad taste in the mouths of the liberals over this? I can’t and don’t want to speak for the liberals. As for me it looks like the people of Wisconsin have had their say. Just another example of democracy in action.

you sure the second bumper sticker didn't say "save a tree. Eat a beaver"

Just an an off-topic aside, one movie about that era that I always thought captured the old PNW woods I knew as a kid was the 1970 film interpretation of Ken Kesey's novel 'Sometimes A Great Notion', with Paul Newman and Henry Fonda.

Totally reminds me of my late grandpa, even down to the old McCulloch CP 125 in this (long) scene:

Best Logging Film Scene Ever

Could Have Just as Easily Been My Grandpa Here

(Tech Note for Stu: For some reason I can't imbed videos any longer, just FYI...).

I find it ironic that the songs the gimme-a-handout crowd were singing in their "singalong" were Christian songs. It is highly doubtful to me that any of them would know Christ if he slapped them upside their commie faces.

I'm trying to figure out who had the better drugs in their purse, the gal beside the bus, or the one on the drum at the sing-a-long. They both looked like the type that you would really want to stop and listen to their opinion, for a few minutes anyhow. Then walk around the corner and laugh your @ss off!

some shaved armpits would have been good too.. In any case, as these idiots are raising heck, I find it interesting to see how they reacted during the counts of the Clinton and Obama races, proclaiming victory before THOSE votes were in, hiding and even destroying hundreds or more military ballots, and almost all the overseas absentee ballots! Liberals... Wow...
