WARNING!...to all call makers and other site advertisers

what is really funny is people that have no clue what happened stuck their nose in here. and if you don't like the fact that they can boot you for saying stuff you shouldn't well you didn't read the TOS agreement at the beginning of each.
 
Rusty, maybe you should copy your post and put it on the other various hunting forums that are discussing the same exact issue about the same exact person. Need some links?

I also want to say thanks to River Runner for bringing this to the boards attention.

I registered over at PJ last month and inquired about posting calls for sale. I got the following back in a private message.

 
River Runner, I don't know what you meant by that, good or bad, so I don't know how to take it. What I said about knocking other boards was not directed at you or PM, because I enjoy this board and the people on it. Some others, I don't remember who, made reference in my opinion that PJ was a bad place and no honest people were over there. All I was trying to do was take up for the hunters and members of that board because I enjoy them also, if anyone has a problem with that they can "sit on it," in the words of Fonzie. I would have done the same thing for this board anywhere else if the curcumstances came up.

Like I said, I am not taking sides on this at all, HoggTrapper is a good friend of mine so I will back his play. I don't have to totally agree with him but I think his intentions were good. I know Lince and liked him for the night I got to hunt with him. He explained the reason for using calls as advertisement payment instead of money which I think is a good idea for the call makers and the members. Now, what he has done or hasn't done is none of my business and if he promised to use them as giveaways he should and I believe he will.

Also, I am glad you started this forum and a warning should be made about trust, which I think is sad if you can't trust another hunter. I just think it got out of hand and the members of PJ shouldn't suffer and loose friends over something they had nothing to do with. Again, I am not trying to bash anyone or anything, just taking up for friends.
 
I may have come across wrong. I didnt mean to aim my attack at anyone but Jay. I agree there are lots of good guys over at PJ. I just dont care if the site fails. Kindly hope it does, because of Jay. Everone cancome over here and play. Heck most are members here.

As far as hogtrapper and Dale...er I mean Rusty have have no beef with either. I hope it wasnt taken that way....seems like it was. I didnt direct it that way.

As stated before I just call it like I see it.

All I have to say is that Every person over on the other board is not bad. In fact I can say that there are people over on the other board that had no idea what was going on. When I joined the board I was probably around the 15th to 20th person to join. Along with some other call makers that I won't name. "They" asked to be a moderator and I agreed. As far as I knew it was just a new forum popping up. I didn't know any background about any of the people and I never met anyone in person. So I don't want people to think that I was in on something when I wasn't. I myself took a $15.00 loss on a call. I can't say if it was on purpose or not. But I know of other people who didn't get paid also. I just don't want to be in the middle of this, when I had nothing to do with it. Aaron.
 
Aaron's got a point. This thread targets Jay and his apparent guiding group.
There may be some call makers that moderate over there and sell here, feeling an impact from this, but I have nothing on those guys. Nothing on any call maker period...well, other then Tebbe's...and they just plain ole don't work. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

For the Record, I have requests to have my game call name "geebgamecalls" REMOVED from all banners, and so called sponsorship at P. Junction. so far nothing has happened. .

As of today, Predator junction is using my gamecalls name and linking in an un-authorized manner.

Few things I have done when odrering a call is I let the Maker know that day when I am sending payment and I always try to be real prompt about it and the second thing I do is aske to let me know when he recieves payment because sometimes the mail is slow or gets lost. Just my 2cents.
As for what has been happening it is a real shame
 
For me personally, I love it when a buyer uses PayPal. I get the money immediately. That is great, no worry about if the check is going to bounce, or having to take the Money Order down to the bank. I love using PayPal when ordering because I know the seller received the money, there is no question by the seller if I am going to be an honest customer or not, and the seller can mail the product immediately, having received funds, often times within minutes of my purchase. It just makes life so much easier on both sides of the aisle.
