What's your calling scope?

I see so much about scopes on here, but can't really see a 6-24 scope on a calling rifle, so I wanted to know what you have on your calling rifle.

Brand
Model
Objective
Magnification
Tube size
Recticle
anything worth mentioning

Looking to mount on an AR 20" in 223.

Mine's on a bolt gun, not an AR, but...
I'm cheap. It's a Simmons "Blazer" 3x9x50.
While it's not my ideal scope, it hasn't changed zero in 4 years, w/4-500 rounds of .223 shot.

Old turtle, how is the illuminated recticle on the Mueller. I bought a 8.5-25 Mueller Tactical for a rimfire bench plinker, and was considering Mueller again for the smaller magnification needs.

Allstar, is the 4 too much to start with? COnsidering a 2-7, 3-9, or 4-12, or something in that range. Want to know how low to go.

I have a bunch of scopes that are used on calling rifles.

About all of them have the 50mm objective. The 50mm comes in handy in low light on higher power specifically.

I use the Leupold VX-III 4.5x14x50 Heavy Duplex, great reticle, easily acquired in low light. I have four of these scopes.

I also use a 3.5x10x50 Leupold VX-III Illuminated German #4 Dot, it has the 30mm tube and is an awesome scope.

I also use 1.5x6x42 Bushnell 4200 with the Firefly reticle on a Remington Model 600 .222.

The illuminated German #4 Dot is fast taking the lead in favoritism.

Dust, It's just a 1moa dot in the middle of a circle... the dot is the only portion that is illuminated,

On 2x, it's a really fast scope and your eye tends to really put the target in the center quickly...the dot allows for some decent precision shooting when you take it to 7x..

I think it was originally designed for shotguns and can be used for a range finder, much as the mil dot scopes, without all the clutter. I've used it on my AR in a couple of competitions where the targets were bowling pins at 100 yds and hanging 8" steel plates at 200+ yds and found it to be faster than the old Leupold Rifleman 2-7x that I used to have..

All three of my calling guns have the same scope.
I find i like haveing the same scope on each gun as it makes the transition from gun to gun very easy.
Bushnell elite 4200,2.5 to 10 power with the firefly reticle 40mm objective.
I have found no need to go larger than 40mm with this scope, good glass, brite and clear even in low light.
For me this is the ideal calling scope,i originally bought one and liked it so much i bought two more and outfitted all three calling guns with them.No regrets what so ever with that decision.

I've used 6.5x20, 4x12, and 3x9, in that order and all Leupolds. I definately prefer the 3x9 for calling and I will probably go with a 1.5x5 on my current build for a lightweight calling AR.
I've never used anything bigger than a 40mm obj either, even though I call some under moonlight (snow). On Jan 11th I killed 2 in back to back stands at 200 and 160 yards, no problems seeing them with the 40mm at 02:00 am.
I'd like to try a lighted reticle, mostly for the cool factor, but to me its not worth the extra money or weight.

Tasco 3-9x40, 1" tube wideview scope. Its only about 30yrs old also & still like new, never a problem with it. Mounted on an R15 18" bbl.

On my 20" Varminting AR I have a Nikon 6-18x40 SF 1" tube, mil-dot scope.
