No cup holder? No ice box? What if I gotta take a pee? I like to roll right up with my camper trailer and set up before I try to call.

Mind sharing a photo of that?

I like the 4 leg stool just because it fits my cheeks better than the 3 leg. It goes in the straps under the backpack like a bedroll.

And then one of these is clipped with a carabiner to the hand loop on my pack. Both add just a couple pounds total and gives me lots of flexibility for our varies terrain.

I just look at yard sales for the short beach chairs. Only a buck or two, very light, has a back, arms, and folds compactly. Maybe a little camo paint and you are good to go.

Mostly just used a kneeling pad that I glued some camo cloth on, due to the snow and the terrain very uneven. The legs of the chairs would sink quite a bit in the snow.

I use a 7 or 8 gallon white bucket in winter. In fall paint it camo. use a cushion 1/2 seat that ice fisherman use. Seat just fits inside bucket , very quite and it has a small hole in front of seat that u can reach down in bucket while sitting on it and get a sandwich or thermos. holds a lot of stuff like my fox pro etc. It is a little taller then a 5 gallon bucket. I have bad knees a little better for me then a turkey chair. Does not seem to high for me but depends on how low u want to be. marty

They make a 5 gallon bucket with a swivel seat on it, all camo that I used till someone borrowed it and forgot to return it. The Swivel seat covered the bucket top, you could put the caller, pruners, etc in the bucket easily.

You have to remember that anything you carry out, also carries scent with it. I use sardines in oil, two cans per sock, two socks put out near us. I have drug a sock and have had them brush my shotgun barrel laying in my lap running from a blind spot with the turbo's full bore!

I use a Hunt Comfort "Fat Boy" cushion, available from Cabela's or a lot of other places. Has one side that's waterproof rubber or synthetic of some sort, and has a dual-stage gel and foam inside cushion and a camo outer cover. They're bulletproof, easy to sit on over anything, and lightweight. They also have a strap for carrying, it's pretty convenient. Works great for me and provides a wide seat so I can move around if I need to on wet or dry ground.

I like the idea of a chair so I can sit up higher but it's difficult to find something that won't sink in the Sandhills so I use a foam cushion that I took off I my turkey beat.
