I never served in the Military but always thought having an "ARMY MAN GUN" might be kind of fun.Untill middle age and a skill capable of earning a decent living I could never see (afford) spending the money on one. The place where I work now I have a few co-workers who have the "addiction" and at first I thought dang man how many of those could a guy need? A few of those friends were into calling, something I had never tried but it sounded interesting/fun. After my friend called and shot a Bobcat I had to give it a try. My first time out, armed with my Marlin Mod.60 22lr all by myself, I called a coyote in...in caught me off guard really because I was so unsure of myself. I actually didnt spot the coyote untill I got up to leave and had to take a shot at him on the run.No kill that day but still excited about it! Told my good friend about my experience and he advised me to upgrade my calling rifle and sugested an AR. I bought my first one about a week later. Then took up reloading. Then bought another. Then bought another....That was two and a half years ago.1)DPMS Panther Bull 20" w/ JP trigger 2)R-25 .243 Winchester 3)DPMS AP4 .308
