As for accuracy, they usually go around an inch or just over, and thats with a bedded stock, etc. My handloads do much better for accuracy, but for the money you really can beat them.
I noticed the same thing, it was louder and had more recoil than the handloads I was shooting. It also gave me flatteed primers, I don't remember if it shot well or not.
