Even if these dogs did get into with Badgers, They'd have to be 20lbs to get down the hole. Your going to Brag your 80lb Gold retriever whooped 2 mini "Pitbulls"?
Pitbulls on Bear cubs, Ya ok LOL. You were mislead as to what Dogs your dog fought.
No Pitbull is 300 lbs, Fighting dogs are kept lean, Even the largest freakazoid Pits barely break 100lbs.
I am calling you out right now, You are either flat out lying, Or the dogs that fought were not American Pitbull Terriers.
Were talking Dogs that flat out play with Porcupines and attack bears, Yet your Golden Retriever whooped 2 of them?
Come on, Don't try and bullchit me.
Golden Retrievers and Wolves are not game, You can't teach gameness, It is within, And no animal has it besides the Pitbull, Its what they were bred to do.
Instead of regaling us with grandeur stories of Hokus Pokus you should really do some research into the Dog.
You'll come to find they are the best dog you can own. Ultra Loyal, Tough as nails, Very personal, Extremely intelligent and a work horse. They'll even be your lap dog if you let them.
LOL You should actually see a pitbull fighting other breeds of dogs. The larger dogs tend to spank pits. You also have to realize that fighting pits are fought against other pits and they are lucky to break 50 lbs. A 50 lbs pitbull killing a wolf let alone a bear.
You lay it on thick. I'd give a fighting pitbull about a 50 50 chance against a coyote. I'd for sure bet on the coyote.
I am like you in that I admire the pitbulls temperament but please don't let your love of the breed cloud your judgement and please don't try and put your pitbull up against a wolf or even a coyote. Just because it's labeled "fighting dog" doesn't mean it's the toughest breed out there.
Oh yeah the pitbull in question was fought against captured badgers. Well what do you know in a pit. He was a champion because he was still alive. The 2 pitbull incident was separate from the badger killing pitbull, that one was at a disadvantage because he fought my dog alone.
To be fair though my golden retriever was a freak. He carried around rocks the size of his own head, usually slept with one between his paws. I think it was us kids fault as we didn't have many sticks laying around so we had him fetch rocks. Poor dog didn't have sharp canines just nubs wore down from the rocks. My dad always said that pit bulls had a hard time with a golden because they couldn't get a grip on their neck through the loose skin. I never could confirm that because every pit he fought was no contest ending in said pit being shook around like a rag doll. I've seen other dog put up a good fight but never a pitbull they just weren't a match, they were either running away on their backs or flying through the air. Sorry
