Without a woman or a camper, I'll look for my fun while popping caps and flinging goo.......... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That's good to hear, since we'll be sharing a tent /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I still got room at my house. I will try and secure some camping spots tomorrow. Even if I cant get someone to let you pull a camper in, WalMart on the east side allows people to camp on the south side of their lot. Probably not what you had in mind but in a pinch it will do. Its free anyway. I should be able to locate someone who will allow camping though. I will let you guys know.

Hey Furhunter, check this out.

If we can't come up with a ranch spot this looks interesting. I may even bring the MH and tow my wife's jeep.

Maybe I'll even cancel out on the Friday meeting.

Claimbuster
If we cant come up with something that does look pretty cool.

Furhunter, to be on the safe side I may make reservations at that campground. It's down along the Platte River and is a pretty spot.

Fuel for the MH comes to $300, I may just be pulling the pop-up.

I may be getting into Casper a day or two before the weekend. My commitments have been drastically reduced. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Its that a good thing or a bad thing?

I will try to get off work early on Friday but hardly ever works. So will leave by 6:00 worst case.

I don't know. But check on rates, the website doesn't give anything.

I want to "rough it" when I camp... maybe just on some BLM nearby or something... if anyone wants to join me... they're welcome... gotta bring your own tent, though.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thats more what I had in mind. Weather at one of the ranches or out in the wild.

Unfortunately pd buster, it is illegal to camp on BLM land in Wyoming. Fear not though. I just got off the phone with my buddy. He says no problem for anyone who wants to camp. He also said that there probably would be no need to split anyone up into diferent groups. He told me that he has enough dogs for 50 people to shoot every day for a month and there would still be too many. I have been shooting on the ranch across the way, which should we want to split up, we could.

For those that are not camping and are thinking about a hotel, I still got room at my place. So far, Tom is the only one to take me up on my offer. Its really no problem and last time I checked, free is good.

That should be the final detail that needed taken care of. Any of you that are coming into town Friday afternoon or evening need to shoot me a message. I will give you my cell number so I can direct you where to go when you get here. I will be working that night until 3:00 am Saturday morning unless I can bug out early. In my line of work the public dictates that, not my boss.

I figure its about $400-450 just for the gasoline. Hey guys, I'll ship you 250 live PD's for $500. Let 'em loose in your back yard and blast away.

Yeah, but then they'd be missing the camaraderie, the braggadocio, the flame roasted beans and franks, the late nite BSing around the campfire, the Presidente 'Ritas. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

There was some serious wind up there today. Folks might want to consider bringing along something heavy, since the wind doesn't deter the PD's in the least. You know, "just in case." /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
