Dad's eyesight was failing and he couldn't see when his spoon hit the water, causing a lot more backlashes than usual. He needed some help from time to time getting them untangled, but still put his share of fish on the boat.

Good to have a young set of eyes on the boat to lend a hand with those birdsnests.

And to net grandfather's fish.

But he managed to catch a few and loved every minute of that trip.

Yep, I caught a fish or two, but most of all, I'll never forget that day just driving the boat and taking pictures.

Yes, Dave, I've been truly blessed to have spent my life in a sportsman's paradise. It's been quite a ride for which I'm very thankful. Location, location, location and I might add a wonderfully understanding wife who does not hunt or fish, but who enjoys the outdoors almost as much as I do.
