You have to be $hittin' me. Really? Yes, you know "all about it" alright. Because you are incapable of differentiating between a cartridge and a caliber, I'm a troll?

Where did anyone ever mention the 6.8SPC?????????????????????????????????

Nowhere, that's where. This "troll" has added more "constructive discussion" to the firearms forum than you will ever be capable of at your finest hour. Get a clue........................................

Your 6.8 does not shoot .270 bullets. They are .277" in diameter.

Jack O' did shoot a 270 Winchester...this rifle shot a 6.8mm bullet. That 6.8mm is equal to .277"

The 6.5 family is a better family of bullets, IMO (that means In My Opinion) Better BC's and SD's, if you understand those acronymns...

Quit digging the hole...

Nice job of patting yourself on the back. I stick to my statement you have bought no constructive discussion to this thread unless you call bashing the 6.8 constructive.
Typical 6.5 fanboy

I can take this 270 Win 130 gr SST® Superformance bullet and shoot it in my 6.8.
As far as the 270 Winchester-when this was conceived there were no "6.8" bullets-they called them 270 bullets.

So yes, the 270 win that Jack O' shot uses the same caliber as your beloved 6.8 SPC. Good, you're coming around.

They were still 6.8mm bullets then and forever will be.

That is a bold statement coming from a guy that 87.5% of his posts revolve around the 6.8 SPC. Careful, one could draw the same conclusions about you.

Your inability to follow along was obviously the cause of this trainwreck. A self-evident fact that all here can see. Yet you continue to deny it.

I'll ask you yet AGAIN----Where did I mention the 6.8SPC???????????????????????????

Why anyone would choose. 6.8 over a 6.5 is beyond me

Hey Bud, 100 percent of my posts may deal with the 6.8, yea I have one and may be a fan but you show me where I dissed any other caliber-you can`t because I have not said one cross word about any other caliber.

Neither did 2MG. Oh yeah......

Go read about it before you form your opinion. oh, I forgot you you know everything.

I have read about it but Im wondering why go through all this trouble to shoot a 6.8mm bullet when the 6.8spc will already do it and do it better?

That statement means he doesn't understand why one would chose a 6.8 caliber, regardless of chambering, over a comparable 6.5 caliber. Pretty simple if one understands the difference of caliber and chambering.
