Kirby, I know you know a thing or two about how to build a world class gun, for sure. Needless to say, I have a lot of respect for your gun building ability and shore nuff ability to out shoot me any day of the week!
From the ratio that you have on shooting yotes with them not just being dead from the shot, I would make a guess, and it is only a WAG that the 95g Ballistic tip may not be transfering shock to the animal like you want a bullet to. Of course, extended range shots are another whole can of worms, which you are the expert in, not me. A guess on my part, (and it is only a guess) is that the 95g Ballistic tip is designed to be more of a deer bullet than a varmint bullet, it may open up too late when traversing the animal's body.
The animals I shot out to 400 yards were just dead at the shot with the 26" custom 243's and 6mm's with the 80g sierra in the 3500-3600fps range. I know that 400 yards is a chip shot for the rifles that you put together, and I can see that another 200 yards puts you in another entire catagory that is unfamiliar waters to me.
