I usually hunt with my regular calling partner, except for when his kitchen pass gets yanked. That works out well as we are both on the same wavelength on where and how to set up. We've called together enough that we pretty much read each others minds, no 'on stand' communication required. We have 100% confidence in each others gun handling skills.
That said, I do enjoy hunting alone once in a while. I seem to call in and shoot more coyotes when alone, but for some reason I also miss more shots (especially easy ones). I hunt alone about 10% of the time.
Once in a while I 'cheat' on my regular partner and hunt with others. I've learned a lot hunting with others that are serious predator hunters, but most of my big game hunting buddies make poor calling partners... They're loud, impatient, can't hold still, and do silly things when coyotes come in (like point, forget to stop them for a shot, forget to chamber a round, etc).
