Maine Predator Hunters (night hunt cats and fox)

Hey John, check your email. I am in. There are a few people I think I can interest in this. If you want to get a sign up or some kind of pettition. I am sure the gun shop will let up put one in there. A buddy of mine just started GSPHA in Idaho so he will be a good resource for help. I also have a really good buddy that is a warden he will help as well. Talk to you soon.

Several weeks ago I posted notices (with links to this forum) trying to stir up some interest for our cause at:

I got no replies.
Predator hunting is just to new to this neck of the woods; it isn't part of the "hunting tradition". However, I hope that this wont be too discouraging for us, I think in time that there will be more interest and maybe if there is only half a dozen of us, so what?

the sunday thing is just a drag...as well as the night hunting for cats and fox...why when i work all week i can't hunt on sunday i'll never know....anyway a contact in each town could provide a lot of signatures on well prepared letters to be sent to the state...cc to ???i could get lots of folks up here in the rangeley area to sign on...i guess i would think there would have to be a request for the sunday hunting and another letter for the night hunting cats and fox...and no limit..keep it simple ......of course a fee ..so to get back to it "we" need contacts (someone who will get the letters signed ) in as many of the towns and cities here as possible..billy
 
I would be intrested in the MPHA what do you need
I live in CT but have some land and houses in Norway
as for the sunday hunting look at youer frinds at SAM thay
keep shooting it down
 
WOW! I had no idea that this MPHA thing picked up momentum again! I am still very interested in this, although I hate to admit that I haven't had a chance to get out in the woods all winter. However' I'm still very interested in hunting yotes/fox/bobcat.
 
I am encouraged to see the people interested and would like to pursue this more but I have been wicked busy and see no light at the end of the tunnel. Who wants to help get this off the ground?
