In factory offerings probably the 7mm RUM witch will shine if you reload heavier bullets for it. And the 7mm STW is probably right there with it.

There is a bunch of wildcats out there to. but not sure of all them.

Is the 7rum still in the catalog. 28 nosler is about the same and so is the 7 dakota. 7mm 300 weatherby is good.
Now, 7rem,7 weatherby,7stw, will be around from now on. The others maybe. The three standby favorites are really hard to beat. The remington is my favorite but the stw is very good also.

I think the Allen mag is based off the 338 Lapua. Don't know much about the firebird but if it's based of the warbird it would be pretty overkill. These would be very expensive to shoot. And more then likely be some barrel burners.

I have some experience with some of the large 7 mags, 7 STW, 7 RUM, and the good old 7 mm Rem Mag. As far as I am concerned the best of the bunch is the 7 mm Rem Mag.

I have been shooting the 7mm RUM for quite a few years and do all my own reloading for it. I strictly use Barnes bullets and have shot everything from 160 gr Barnes TSX bullets on plains game in Africa to 110 gr TTSX for long range coyotes in windier conditions (we get that a lot during the winter out here in Wyoming).
My go to favorite bullet for all around hunting at longer distances here in the west is the Barnes 145 gr LRX bullet. I load with H1000 powder.
I am a very, very satisfied 7mm RUM owner.

As Lefty SRH asked to the OP, what is your intended use for the caliber? There are a ton of options out there for anything you want to do. The 7mm is a great all around caliber and if you do not reload, probably the standard 7mm is what I would recommend based solely on ammunition availability at your local sporting goods store.
