Some folks get extremely irate when a utilitarian piece of equipment is used as effectively as their Loopys at 1/10 the cost.
It is a well proven fact that I hate to get wrapped up into scope threads ( /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif) but I will say that when buying scopes I like a little insurance peace of mind. It is one of the very few pieces of equipment (and one of the very most important) that I take into the field that I cannot replace on the spot. Rifle and ammo are the others but lets face it, rifle and ammo fail a lot less often than scopes do. I can replace calls and camo easily, some other things I can do without if needed, even socks can be replaced in the field unless I forget TP. For the nominal difference in price I like to go to the best of my financial abilty at the time in scopes.
