New Release from FOXPRO

I forgot to mention that I was giving a new sound a test run and had a coon grab my call in a death roll and stopped just short of taking it for a swim!

why not use a rifle??

The police tried on more than one occasion to get the prowler to stay home,it did work! they even drew down on them the first time.
After the FX5 incident they never came back! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Utahdogger,

A sound clip will simply not show the actual volume of the caller. If you want, give us a call tomorrow, and we can play it for you over the phone. You will be very impressed with the volume that this compact call has to offer!

Hey Mike, I have an old 16 sound caller with the old remote. Is the sound volume approx. the same between the two? Thanks

Do you have an estimated release date? Even a wild guess? I was just getting ready to order an M1 Bandit. I like the Foxpro remote better and will wait if it will be soon.

It comes with a new remote why would you need it to work with another?

However, and don't quote me on this. I THINK I remember Mike saying that as long as you changed the channel on the remote and the caller, you could use your old TX200 from your FX series.

Mike, Steve??? Is this true?

Because if it will work with a persons exisistng TX200 remote there is no need to buy another one.
Instead of $500 maybe it's only $300 if you already have a TX200

Thats what I am looking for! Also why have 2 TX-200 remotes? I have an FX5, so it would be cool to use only one remote to control both units seperatly or at the same time.

I am curious about the quality of the sound compared to the FX5. How do they compare in terms of frequency response at moderate volumes?

After you release this product, why would a person buy an FX5 (besides higher sound volume)?

Thanks,
Dave

P.S. I don't understand why other call makers emphasize volume so much in their product descriptions?

Don't under estimate high volume! In open areas and wind you need more volume in a lot of circumstances. Even with little wind, in certain areas and times of the year max volume is a plus for sure. Coyote vocals and aggressive pairs, are 1 example where max volume pays off.

I'm a big believer in max volume for calling coyotes, if you work some open country and draws that are long and wide, sound can be eaten up a lot with even a 10 mph wind.

Max volume in my thinking and others I know is that with aggressive coyotes it demands a reaction or response, using the sounds that will provoke this is the key with a lot of volume.

ADCcoyote, I like high volume also and I also hunt open country most of the time. I have had coyotes show up 15 seconds into the call so the high volume did not blow them away. I have over half the coyotes I call in come right up to the call and shoot them with a shotgun while the volume is on full blast.

That item looks like the ideas behind the minaska m-1?

I use a big country and like all the volume and choice of speakers, it has helped make me more efficant at killing coyotes. You still need to do the locating and foot work, but I love that caller.

I'm still torn wether to wait for this one or go ahead and get an FX-5 now so I know I'll have it in time to call this year ! The FX may have more calling volume and I think that may be a bit better where I call.
