Newbie question about Browning BLR .243

I just got it back .....I bought it 3 weeks ago with plans of doing something to the look...I thought about a ramline or macmillian stock ...... it was that old ugly black-greyish color and anything is better than that. Then I just decided to let hunting buddy paint her up.....what'd you think???

I think it looks pretty cool, definitely unique. There is quite a difference between a Ramline and a McMillan. It sounds like someone saying they were thinking of either buying a Ferrari or a Yugo to me. Your buddy's gonna be pizzed that you traded the rifle to Grunter.......

Yeah I really liked some Bell & Carlsons also.......A couple of your rifle stocks look like B&C??? AHH my buddy will be ok /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Only 1 B&C in those pics. It is on the custom Remmy 700 6mm-06. It is a take-off stock from a Rem Titanium series. It is pillar bedded, and glass bedded.....Have another on a 35 Whelen(no pics of it), it is bedded also. They are okay, but not close to bein' in the same league as H-S or McMillan.....
