OK Lets say your guns are banned!

Thought I'd add my top list of states that we should move to for political freedom. Texas (it has to start with Texas! Think OIL!!), Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Maybe toss in Oklahoma.

With these states we would have a good base of conservative people, we would have many ports, we would control the Mississippi River and we would have oil and other resources. If enough of us moved there we'd make it so bad for the "left" in those states they'd run off to parts unknown. Many would leave for the lack of a government check.

Worst conservative states to move to? Think land locked states like Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota and Nevada. Lots of conservative people but that and the scenery are about the only good things.

As for those of you I've confused, I'm terribly sorry to have done so, though I can't imagine how or why you'd be confused by what I wrote. I'm crystal clear to myself and all my voices...;-)

Freedom is born on the battle field, and dies with a whimper. Thomas Jefferson said something to the effect that, every generation must spill its blood to keep this republic alive. Its been a whole lot of generations since that has happend.

Don't leave out Tennessee, (at least the Western half), Texas was peopled and succored by folks from TN when they made the break from Mexico, leaders as well as grunts. We be mates!

When Jackson crushed Crockett's re-election bid as he couldn't be put under the yoke, his retort:

"You may all go to [beeep], and I will go to Texas."

Lots of emotions and thoughts on both sides of this, and alot of good points. I know one thing, I won't turn mine in, and I doubt "they" will ever find them. I remember seeing video of pristine Brownings and such being whacked in half on a chop saw over in England and Australia when they turned in their guns. I can tell you they won't be cutting my pre-64 model 70, or my 40XB, or the 1911 that my grandfather brought back from WWII. They will rust in a PVC tube in the woods before they are destroyed by men. I may never get to use them again, but then again there may come a day when they are needed. In general, when a good man with a good rifle is needed, he is needed rather badly. I will have the ability to be there when called upon.

If you really want to know what evil can be in the hearts of men, read a few books on history. "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" is a good place to start, and "The Gulag Archipelago" about a political prisoner in Russia is a real eye opener also. History does repeat itself, and eventually it will even here in the good old USA.

All that said, I don't think I will see it in my lifetime, but it may very well come about in the time of my children or grandchildren.
 
im beginning to think we will see it in the next 3 years,or at least they will try to ban them. CALL YOUR PEOPLE IN GOVERNMENT!
