I for one enjoyed Hunting the Night Shift immensely. It is a well made video and had some good nuggets of info in it. For the most part hunting in general is as hard as you make it. All videos have flaws because they are limited to length and the maker never knows exactly who their audience will be. I can watch a video on mute and still pick up things. What I try to do is look at the set- up and visualize where I think the coyote, fox or whatever will show. For the most part I enjoy watching them to see how other ppl's techniques vary from mine and if there is something I had not thought of to throw into my own game plan. I don't watch a video and then go out and mimic exactly what I saw, because it may not apply even 50% of the time to the places I hunt. Videos are 99% entertainment for me and 1% informational.
I agree 100% with R. Buker on Randy Anderson's bad howling. To me though, it does go to show that you don't have to sound authentic to fool a coyote. Not all of us sound exactly like a dying rabbit, a mouse or a woodpecker but those sounds still call fox in.
