The POINT is what kind of parent would choose to be the VP of the US when you know your child is 5 months pregnant and, therefore, undergo scrutiny and ridicule from millions of people.
..and yes, apparently, both her and McCain knew about this beforehand.
What does that say about their character? And how sensitive they both were to the feelings of that child and her siblings.
As a parent, I would more concerned about protecting my child than getting a better job. Don't hate the player, hate the game!!
I think those are fair questions. But in all "fairness", there has been a very recent President who had several affairs, while his daughter Chelsey, was forced to watch her mother suffer through the embarassment of it all, and a very recent Vice Presidential Cadidate who has had an affair, (maybe even resulting in a child), while his wife suffered through Cancer.
The real differance is that neither Clinton or Edwards cared about getting caught, or what their own children or wives would say about their disgusting behaviour. I'm sure poor Chelsey can't even see a cigar without shuddering. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif
This young lady is getting married, having her baby, and beginning her life, WITH the support of her ENTIRE family.
She certainly can't expect her mother to NOT accept the nomination for Vice President of the United States due to her lapse in judgement now can she?
Or should she have had an abortion and kept the whole thing "hush-hush"? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
