Had a wind chill of -30 here the other night. Been -2 to -6 for the high last couple of days. Right now we’re getting another 2-3” of snow. 38 degrees for the high Wednesday, I’ll be in short sleeves and need to take a dip to cool off

Took the Harley out to Colorado one year and ran into a sign like that......it weren't lying....Went for a little drive today
and enjoying it! Thank you sir! Happy New Year

Never owned the classic 300 h&h but was sure tempted on a couple of pre-64's but they were a bit more than I wanted to pay so settled for post 64 300 WM.
I have had three follow me home over the years. The one pictured below, a Ruger #1 and a Browning B78. It is one of my favorite 30 caliber chamberings.
That rifle was born a 375 H & H according to the fellow I bought it from. He was getting older and sent it to Hill Country Rifle in New Braunsfels, Tx. to have it re-barreled to 300 H & H. Evidently a shoulder injury caused him to sell it. I got it and 5 boxes of premium ammo at an excellent prices for a Custom KS.

Also installed a Timney Calvin Elite Trigger shortly after it followed me home.
For several years it was my go to Thumper.

I've registered on any number of forums in the last 23 years or so. I posted on AccurateReloading for 20 years until my conservative world view got me banned permanently.
Been posting on 24hrcampfire since 2008. I am familiar with a lot of folks screen names, but do not know their given names.
My kids and grandkids sometime ask me a question on a particular topic. Many times these days I will reply, I sure I knew that once, but I certainly have forgot it.
So in reply, I've known a few Bartletts. The name Paul Bartlett does not ring a bell. Perhaps if he posts on different forums you might inform me of his screen name or handle.
In that case I may be able to answer in the affirmative.
I knew of PredatorMasters, and may have registered long long ago. I recently started posting last year for the first time on a forum that I joined in 2011.
A member here posted that PM was up and running in the Predators and Varmints forum on 24hr. I thought I'd give it try.
I'm gainfully un-employed and do not watch TV, so I have a good deal of time on my hands when I'm not hunting or at the range, and I always have a camera with me when I go afield.
Perforating hoglets is my passion. A bud and I have taken over 500 in the last 5 years we've been loosely keeping score either by snaring, trapping or perforating.
Aoudad, Javelina, Coyotes,Coons, Jacks Squirrel and Fox, and in season, duck, geese, dove, quail and turkey are either targets or targets of opportunity
So far this has been a good fit. I am very much enjoying the forums here.
What's the old bromide, it's nice to be important, but more important to be nice.
Let me know if anything I post is out of bounds.

Many of my knife pix have firearms, adult beverages, cigars and some include instances of critters being un-wrapped.
Being a newbie, what would be the appropriate forum to post those pix (if any).
