Your Pic of the Day

Everyone is posting pics of trophies. I don't have any handy. But here's the best thing in my life so far: This woman who is not only the world's greatest veterinarian, but she deserves a Medal of Honor for putting up with me for all these years. But I'm proud to say that we have stood by each other's side each and every day, even through the times that we thought would be unbearable. We made it through, and we're still standing and treating each day as a gift from God for bringing us together.

The red Lechwe are also swamp dwellers, having widely splayed, elongated hooves to support them better on soft ground. Their heavily ridged horns (bulls only) which can reach 35" in length. Average weight between 175 to 290 pounds and often feed in knee deep water. Lechwe hind legs are noticeably longer than their front legs which enables them to run better in soft soil.

Nice bear Alf.
I've never had one scored for myself.
Thanks. My first bear was pretty good size, and while getting it mounted, I had it scored, & it made book.

Figured I'd never shoot another big one so I entered it in P&Y.

Since the other three ended up being larger, I felt it was only right to add them to the book too.

I got them mounted and entered to honor the animals, not for fame & fortune.......
