Well Dave, if I were a little bit closer to your area, I would help you out of any situation gone awry. My Tacoma is a designated Jeep rescue vehicle!;)

So... Most of the people I go offroading with are Toyota people. On one of the runs I lead every year, it's not unusual for me to be the only Jeep out of 15 vehicles. And I owned and drove a Landcruiser for a long time. I'm not the least bit anti Toyota. They are great rigs.

But... When the Toyota people start giving me a hard time, all in friendly good humor, but, happens often... I threaten to start putting a sticker on the side of my Jeep for every Toyota I have rescued. Like kill decals on a fighter jet or sack decals on a college football helmet. The Toyota people giving me the hard time, many of whom I have rescued, but none of whom have had to rescue me, shut the eff up :ROFLMAO: .

Truly, I can't count the number of Toyotas my Jeep has gotten unstuck, tipped back over, towed into town, etc. But, equally true, that's mostly because I mostly roll with Toyotas. Only natural that most of my rescues would be Toyota, that's mostly who I roll with. But, it is equally true, I have never been rescued by a Toyota. Not that I haven't ever needed rescue, just, it's never been a Toyota to rise to the occasion, despite most of my friends driving Toyotas.

I've rescued so many, I'm an honorary member of two different Toyota only clubs :ROFLMAO:. The only Jeep allowed to go on their club runs.

Just yanking your chain Dave. Actually my Tacoma is the PreRunner model, not 4wd, and gets stuck on flat turf if someone has spit a hacktooey there. I like it but, I get a lot of walking rather than risking getting stuck as I hunt alone.
Is the replacement axle the long one and why will it not bend?
