Since this is an impossible what-if question, I'll pick a gun that does not exist. I would want a Stainless Steel version of a Rem 7600 with a fluted, med-heavy contour barrel, chambered in .30-06. On it would be a scope that doesn't exist. A Leupold VX-7, 2.5-10x45 with the additional lens coating of something similar to raiguard but even better.

I guess I dream big and live small.

If I could pick a rifle to be my only gun one that I would love, but have not added to my collection yet would be a 20" Savage 99 rotary mag in 250 savage with a leupold one piece base and mounts and a quality 3x9 scope. Just like this one: [img:center]

. I would just go with the 375 . but the 260 is the best all around except for brown bear ...

Barrett M-98 50BMG or .338Edge with a Nighforce 6-60X65.

"Near or far, big or small, my 300 win mag kills them all" ;-)......that needs to be a bumper sticker..

Not trying to stir the pot but if I had only one rifle it would be my Winchester model 70 Sporter Varmint 26" barreled .243 and Leupold 4.5-14X56 scope. No doubt about it.
