Beware of a man with only one rifle

Being i don't hunt general rifle seasons anymore ( since 1976) i will stick with my .50 TC Encore Muzzle loader . I could take anything with this !!

best shooting gun i have ever owned , but i did have to put a 1x hinge pin and a heavier lock up spring to get it that way .

with a 1 x scope .

I'm another guy with a 7600 in 30-06. Easy to find ammo, detachable mags, and will take down anything. Not to mention that the gun is as tough as a railroad spike.

To hunt both the small & large game of Ky, the 223 would be my choice. It would also be my choice in a survival type scenerio. Great RND that would kill anything on the planet with a FMJ to the skull.
 
Browning BLR Lightweight in 7mm-08 would be my preferred pick. But since I don't have that I'll throw in another vote for the Win 94. Mine is a angle eject(AE) for scoping (preferred by me) and a worked over trigger.

Not much I can't and don't do with the 30/30 Winchester. I can load it with jacketed or cast, small game, varmints, predators, deer, etc, etc.

But truth be known, I can do just about all of it (up to and including deer) with my .22-250 too so it really don't make much difference in the real scheme of things.

I've admired it since I saw the first picture you posted of it. I saved the picture on my hard drive, I guess I'm kind of a rifle stalker lol sorry! My best friend's dad has 6 model 99's, two of which are in 250-3000 but they are both 24". I love shooting them, but I love your Carbine WAY MORE!
