We are pleased to give you more details on one of our new upcoming products. We have not yet officially named this new product, but here are some of the features:

- Smallest and lightest wildlife caller in its class. Small enough to fit in your pants pocket! Weighs in at 1.55 pounds, including batteries.

- Ultra-smooth case with no protruding knobs, switches, or speaker grills. Standard finish is flat black. Camo patterns are optional.

- Comes complete with the most desirable TX-200 transmitter with full graphic display. No need to deal with paper lists as sound names are stored in the transmitter.

- The caller "on" and "off" functions are controlled from the transmitter (finally), or by an internal pushbutton switch.

- Operates on 8 "AA" NiMH rechargeable batteries, or in a pinch, from alkaline batteries. The transmitter uses the common 9-volt battery.

- Pilot / Low Battery LED shows that the unit is on, and when the batteries need recharged or replaced.

- Factory programmed with an incredible variety of 100 sounds! Allows you to call many species of predators, game animals, and birds. Holds up to 200 sounds.

- Easy to reprogram or change sounds using the USB connection and your home computer with no need to remove the memory card. Plays mp3, wav, and FOXPRO FXP sound files.

- Charge jack and internal battery management system insures maximum run-times while protecting the batteries from detrimental effects of over-charge and over-discharge, thereby assuring maximum battery life.

- Extremely loud volume due to the high efficiency built-in top quality Mylar cone speaker and powerful amplifier.

- External speaker jack permits you to connect a larger speaker for even more loudness. The internal speaker can be turned off if desired.

- Decoy / AUX jack allows for connection to a decoy, camera shutter, or other approved devices.

- Sound quality so good that you can download and enjoy your favorite mp3 music files. We've even provided a special "Jukebox" mode for this purpose!

- User upgradeable internal memory card. 1GB standard.

hyperwx,

yotehunter74,

I wish that I could give you a more precise time frame, but I won't post any dates yet. Too many variables can change the release date. As soon as I know, however, you guys will be the first to know.

Those photos are fine. I couldn't see them from work I guess.

What are the chances of just purchasing the speaker and using our existing remote. Frequency compatability problems?

xdshooter,

You would be surprised at the volume that this caller has. It's not as loud as the FX series (can't be with just the cone speaker), but volume many times can be overrated. It surpises me as to how many people want the loud volumes (I have had coyotes come in from over a mile away upwind with the FX5 at only half volume). If you want more volume from the caller, however, simply plug in a larger speaker. It has a large amp that will easily drive the larger speaker. But why take the large speaker if you don't need it? As far as clarity, the Mylar cone speaker provides plenty of clarity.
We intend to provide a caller that suits everyone's needs, whether it be in a compact package, one that excels in features, or one that produces the loudest volume possible without regards to size. Ask what best suits your calling needs, and simply look in our current product line. If you don't see what you want, it's probably right around the corner. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

ARCOREY,

I have found that if you give your wife something in return for what you want, the "D" word can be avoided.

guess,

Yeah, you would definitely be able to put it throught it's paces!

this is the sad thing when Foxpro say's something new is coming out they will get bomb barded with call's and email's. poor smokin Joe will be busy now. it will be worth the wait. thank's foxpro. Rick

Amen! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif I don't think I ever used my 416-B at over 1/2 volume. I've used the FX-3 at 3/4 volume, but only when using howls in very high winds. I've found most callers to be much louder than they need to be as far as predator calling goes. If a guy wants to call geese or crows from the next county he could buy the Foxpro Snow-Crow Pro or one of the optional Foxpro speakers.

For all you guys that gotta have the newest, let me know what you'll sell your worn out worthless obsolete FX3 for!!
thanks
Carl

shucks Mike you made me blush! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
You see Mike has seen the shape my Fx3 was in after just as year, and he's seen my FX5 after just one season.
Lets see it's been dropped from great hieghts, fallen out of tree's and the truck, shot at,blood on it,rained on many times, the plug in covers have been ripped off of it, the battery packs distroyed and I'm sure I've left some out! It takes a licken and keeps on Kill'n!
I'm hard on equipment for sure and Mine still works just as good as the day I got it! AWESOME! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
Did I mention that my kids play with it and the my wife has used it to scare off prowlers? It worked they dropped their flashlight and ran for their life! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Keep'em coming I'll try and wear them out! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Glen your call sounds like mine. Nothin' like taking a tumble off the top of the truck and watching it roll down the hood off into a wash and then keep working like nothing happened..

Since Mike has come on here and let the cat out of the bag so to speak, I'm going to go ahead and say a couple of us saw the demo version of this call over the weekend and all I can say is WOW!!! Awesome sound for such a little call, super light and SMALL??? Well the first thing I did was try to shove it in the back pocket of my jeans and it fits with no problem, I bet some of your wallets have more of a problem fitting in your back pocket..

I was talking to AugnMike today and he can't wait to get one of these and tie a coyote tail to it and hang it from a tree. Awesome idea Mike. Man we're gonna kill some critters with this thing when it comes out.

Tim
