What are your gas prices?

I'm hearing that prices are going to sky rocket in central Indiana in the morning. Is anyone seeing an increase yet? I was just told that Crystal Flash stations in central Indiana may be limited to X gallons to pump per day.

Is anyone else hearing snything like this? I topped my tank today for $2.63 just in case. I'm told to rxpect $2.98 in the morning. I just topped my tank again and filled it to the nozzle as well as filling a 5 galon can just in case.

With the holiday weekend coming up I'm guessing that the oil companies are going to gouge as much as they can with the uncertainty aster the hurricaine.

Am I just over reacting? What are you seeing across the country?
 
Just went to www.crystal-flash.com and the following message is on their front page.

Dear Valued Customer:

Due to Hurricane Katrina's proximity to the Gulf Coast, all Indiana terminals have been placed on allocation, limiting the amount of gasoline available in the Indiana market. As of noon, Crystal Flash can not buy any more gasoline and diesel product from our suppliers for the day.

Because we must maintain a minimum amount of product in our tanks to keep them from floating to the surface, we may be forced to temporarily discontinue the sale of gasoline at some of our locations. Please bear with us as we work through potential gasoline shortages during the next several days. The management of Crystal Flash Petroleum will work very hard to procure supply during this time of uncertainty. Until the market recovers from the effects of Hurricane Katrina we ask for your patience and your assistance in promoting the conservation of fuel.

It went up 10 cents here in NW Montana today, I filled vehicles and cans this evening and the gas station owner told me it would be over $3 by Friday. This hurricane is going to hit all of us.
 
It just amazes me the excuses they find to raise the price. There are hurricanes a lot. It should not have any affect. Next they will raise it because it is going to warm up.
 
How about $ 2.58 Mon.= $ 84.00 to fill the work truck.
Yesterday afternoon $ 2.86 on the poster board.
I don't want to look today.
Talk about a bunch of thievs.

wow lets try this. Monday 2.65, Tuesday 2.99, now wednesday morning 3.19.....Feel the burn. I think I might pitch a tent behind work and camp out during the week.
