Looking to pick up some bore guides and wondering what you guys use if any. The custom Lucas bore guides are a bit pricey and some of the cheaper ones have poor reviews. What about Bore Tech? Does anybody use them? The 25 cal - 30 cal is $35.00.

I have 5 of the Lucas guides and can't image not using them
If the Bore Tech is $35 I would go ahead and get the Lucas
They are custom made for your specific action AND your
cleaning rod.

I would want one for every caliber I have

Thats all i use also, Well worth the money...

I use Possum Hollow guides for AR`s and they are cheaper than others but work great IME. My bolt rifles I made my own. Bottom line is that whatever you get, it will be money well spent IMO.

If I were willing to spend $35 on a bore guide, I'd move up to one by Mike Lucas... I have four of his and can't justify using anything of lesser quality..

I just ordered two for my CZ .204 and my custom .308 Steyr-Mauser action and had them within 10 days..If I remember correctly, it was $88 for the two..

I have purchased all of my bore-guides from Russ Hayden, including two I had made for me. All with solvent ports, and nothing about them is cheap. His are first quality.

Worth every penny!

If you are willing to lay down the cash on a rifle the least you can do is buy a bore guide to protect your investment. I wont clean without a bore guide, have one to fit every caliber I shoot. They just make sense.

Not sure if you understand what a bore guide is, might want to look them up and rethink if they are needed.

I have many...different names but they all do the same thing...can't imagine cleaning without one, makes the job easier, more efficient, less messy and protects your action while centering your "coated" rod in your bore...kinda wish I had come up with the idea.
