Womb full of pups question.

Maybe I should post my findings on a few websites so my word will be golden then. I still go off of what I have seen in the field and not what someone else has written.

Kirby i wasn't saying you guys you have been here long enough to have seen the fights that start this time of year that's what i was referring to
i too have drawn my own conclusions threw 30+years of hunting and calling.
my thoughts are more to HOW to take this specific coyote
when i hunt winter time is for fun in spring its to take out stock and fawn killers.
it changes its no longer to call in any coyote its to call in a mated pair that is doing damage.
i have been called out many times over talking about control work thats why i just would rather not talk about the kills on the net.

work or recreation thats right on how i feel about springtime calling.
you have to figure out the right coyotes first.
if you take out a pair that isn't doing damage the new comers just might.
if you think you got the bad apple but got the wrong coyotes the killing will not stop.
yes jay is right all coyotes have the potental to kill livestock but we all know some are not they might later but right now they are not and they are filling in a area that your stock is in. if you remove them while you are dropping lambs the new commers might be bad stock killers.
its delicate work.
if you take out the females in a area you will have a window of oppertunity to lamb or calve before the male is killed or moves then a couple weeks before a new PAIR takes over the area [this is importent] pairs with pups do the most damage.

Easy for a person to draw a conclusion or an opinion of or NOT. From missing information. I've done that myself. With limited information.

Drawing a conclusion or an opinion, w/o TOTAL facts. May be true, may be not. Other experiences, can assist us in drawing a conclusion from another scenario we've witnessed. When facts are still missing. As to what we've seen or really understand. But still, it is flawed.

As it is sometimes NOT possible to gain ALL information & or facts. To obtain a total understanding of the TRUTH. Of what were really seeing in the field. People do the best they can, with the information gathered.

Some yrs back, I killed a female coyote from a pr. This was on a 2x2 mile section. One of the farmer's[of which there were two of them]. That raised sheep on this 2x2 land mass. They both had sheep killing going on.

Well, after I killed the female. The sheep killing quit. The male had left the area about 2 wks? later. NO coyotes treveled into or across this section the rest of the Winter. When in fact, there were other neighboring coyotes in adjacent sections. This 2x2 mile section BTW, was prime habitat. With plenty of other prey & cover. I "concluded", with the information I had seen. That I indeed killed the female sheep killer.

The following yr, sheep killing started up on the next section adjacent to the 2x2 mile. I "suspected" that male moved nearby & mated with a female. Thus started killing sheep in that section. No doubt some FACTS, were missing in my assumption. My above assumption was biased, still is. Same as my lower scenario. As I wasn't able to obtain ALL FACTS.

What we see in the field & then draw a conclusion to, CAN be biased or skewed. Due to the fact. WE do not have ALL of the FACTS.

Please do. I would enjoy reading them. I've been around just long enough to know that my own experiences are not the be all and do all of the known world. I'm happy to learn from the shared experience and knowledge of others... one of the reasons I read here on PredatorMasters.
