To the balut guy: balut is basically awesome. I bought some when I lived in Tucson at the Asian market. Boiled it and salted it, just like the Asian dude said. Very tasty, extremely unlike coyote meat which is disgusting.
As far as eating dog goes, lots of countries still do eat dog. I talked at length to a Chinese lady about this, and the Chinese surprisingly enough do not eat dog or cat. I was mistaken about that. They eat dog in Mexico though, and in Hawaii. Black dog being the preferred dog. I often look at my chocolate lab and think "ya know, I bet she'd be alright on the grill." The native Americans ate dog too. It isn't unheard of by any stretch to eat Canine.
The problem with coyotes is their atrocious diet which consists of anything they come across, including skunks and roadkill and who knows what else. Like I said, I'm the LEAST picky eater I know. I've eaten Balut and I've eaten bobcat (delicious), I eat heart and liver, I eat everything. The worst flavor I have ever experienced is coyote meat. Good luck man! Remember, soak that stuff in marinade and spices for a LONG time and make it palatable!

Swiftie, since we're filing complaints on SHampton's thread, please consider this one as well: I can no longer tolerate doggin' coyotes frequently irreverent and hilarious contributions to this forum. Biting wit is a sign of intelligence and quite frankly, myself and other spoil sports on here find his humor above our heads and as we are unable to properly appreciate his humor, please issue a cease and desist order to doggin and his more witty postings. I wold like to file a complaint on CR for displaying inproper predator hunting footwear! Not only is he wearing the wrong shoes, but he is wearing the wrong shoes wrong! if you are going to wear "peny loafers" to call predators, at least have the decency to put a penny in them!

They are not penny loafers - they are Sketchers casual shoes. There is no official spot for pennies. And by the way, doggin' has dubbed them "cat stalkin' shoes" and that's my official term for them when I'm not stalkin' alligators in them. When I wear them alligator hunting, they're "gator stalkin' shoes".
I will make sure that they are in every photo just for you and doggin' when I start posting glory shots of furry critters.
