Most Worthless Calibers

.....Without a doubt, the most worthless CHAMBERING is.......

....243 Winchester!!! A much better offering using the same bullet is the 6MM Remington. It's faster, more accurate, and just all around better.

I have a .250 Savage that I wouldn't trade for any 3 rifles in .243, unless of course I could find a sucker to unload them on.

This is my personal opinion, and we all know that opinions are like another part of human anatomy, in that, everyone has one!

Other worthless chamberings are the WSM, WSSM, WSSSSSSM,
SAUM, RUM, etc.

Now the .25 auto is pretty cool. You can watch the bullet in flight, like getting tracers for free.
Once shot a trapped badger in the top of the head with it and packed him home. Found he was still alive. The bullet had not penetrated the skull and just knocked it out long enough to get home under my arm.
This may be considered free entertainment and education.

By our great game dept rules .25 pistol is legal for big game.

How about 357 sig.

Tell you the truth I would never own a .223. Not that it's a bad round, but that alot of people that shoot it don't shut up about it. It's the best for this, it's better than that. I'm just the kind of person that gets something shoved in my face enough I end up hating it. Sorry it's just me. Sure it's an ok round.

Wow i wasnt expecting alot of that.
Im not sure if any of them are worthless. I have several 22LR and 223s. They all have their roles.
I really like my 270, shot it out to 1200yds no problem holding Moa. Funny thing is, i have 3 223s, 2 270s, 2 30-06s, 2 30 carbines, 3 12ga, 1 6.8spc, 1 308, 1 22-250, 5 22LRs, 1 300wm, 2 7.62x39, 2 44mags, 2 40sw, and 2 38spl.
Each has a diff purpose and each a diff role.

Had a 25auto once and its the only gun i think ive ever sold for its lack of everything needed. Cant think of another worthless caliber.

All to be taken tongue in cheek, I'm sure. How about the WWII 7.5X54 French MAS cartridge. It sure wasn't fired very often.

Another that I think is nasty is the .223. I carried one while in the service and it worked great for what it was intended to do which was shoot a man at 300 meters. But as a varmint cartridge it's a crap shoot for anything over 200 yards. Still, it was always nice to have one at the range while waiting for a barrel to cool, and it shot excellent groups at 100 yards.

Also owned a 7mm Rem Mag. It was a decent cartridge but I also had a rifle chambered in .300 H&H mag that was just more versatile and seemed easier on felt recoil.
You need to get out more

i dont know waht guns or ammo you were shooting in that 223 but it must have been something ive never had the displeasure of shooting!! And the 7mm magnum is a flat out awesome caliber with good ballistics and good for all ranges of medium to large game !! Not picking on you just a little baffled at your 223 and 7mm results!!

Couldn't agree more with 2muchgun. Although there are not huge differences in the two I much prefer the 7mm. But I do not think any gun is worthless, I would not buy a bunch of them but to each their own I say.
